Kayaking with friends
Good mental health is enhanced by positive physical health. The decision to balance work with recreation is a commitment to our own quality of life. Time in my garden offers me contemplation and appreciation of the beauty of nature, while at the same time contributing to my family's physical health with these great delicious fruits and veggies. I encourage everyone to make time in their busy lives for connecting with the things that bring us peace and joy.
Kayaking with my friends, or alone, is one of my favorite summer activities. Ohio has many lovely rivers and lakes where wildlife is abundant and nature communes with the spirit. My cute little crossover kayak has traveled to the Adirondack Mountains, to the Outer Banks, to Ontario, Canada, and all over Ohio, providing me with exercise, adventure, fellowship and great satisfaction. Find a hobby that you love, and you will begin to find a way to balance the stress of everyday life with relaxation and fun.
